The Local Musician: Lyrically linking the Flagstaff community

Music brings people together better than most things. It has the power to create an inclusive environment that almost everyone can relate to in one way or another. Music ties community members together, especially those who may not have any other reason to interact.

There are countless stories about individual music events, bands or musicians but I have seen very few articles that assess the impacts that local musicians have on communities themselves. The unique aspect of this idea is to take a step back and look more broadly at multiple artists, across the local music scene of Flagstaff and assess how they feel they have impacted their community.
